Any beautiful music, but favorites include jazz, Latin, Tango, R and B, 1940's Torch songs, Marvin Gaye, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Cole Porter, Quincy Jones, some of the new guys like John Legend, and all the really good any-era dance groove songs

Eat Pray Love, The Sex Lives of Cannibals, The Art of Happiness, Jane Austen's collection, Historical novels, Memoirs, non-fiction, biographies, Pablo Neruda's poetry and that of many others, David Sedaris, An Inconvenient Truth, the Language of God and I admit, anything I can get my hands on.
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:

Antonia's Line, Schindler's List, The Piano, Y Tu Mama Tambien!, Like Water for Chocolate, Captain's Courageous, Finding Nemo, Cinderella, all the romantic comedies, Small Change, French movies that torture me with an unhappy ending, Spanish and Mexican films, Sleepless in Seattle, foreign films, Short Cuts, okay... I admit it... I love stories. I am a chick after all.
Favorite TV Shows, Actors:

Dark, dark, dark with murder, mayhem and mystery! I like to see if I can guess the plot in five minutes and am delighted when I cannot. Also loved the Sopranos, enjoy Heroes, Cold Case, Mystery!, Grey's Anatomy, ER, and laugh/cringe whenever I watch Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Lighthouse Beach in Annisquam, Massachusetts; Madrigal del Monte, Spain; Cuernavaca, Mexico; Quebec, Canada; Cape Cod and Cape Ann, Massachusetts; Portland, Oregon and Ridgefield, Washington (where I live)
Interests and Activities:

Travel, preventing global warming, living as greenly as I can, cultivating humility along with tolerance, kindness and compassion for others, particularly children. Sculpting, watercolors, writing, blogging, screenplay writing, photography, political activism, hiking, genealogy, cooking, volunteering helping children and women and a few men here and there.
Wish List:

World Peace, Obama for President, A responsible citizenry concerned about our environment, children always to be well cared for and loved, An Easy Diet... okay, so I'm not as self-sacrificing as I first appeared.:)... good health for all my friends and family, and the grace to deal with life when it is tough.
